Committees

This new committee will connect every other month and discuss companies expanding to the South Florida area, which include owners and developers that need to be involved in CREDA, to create new relationships with the member volunteers and CREDA SFL. 

Members (for CREDA members 35 years of age and younger) organize and plan socials, educational and community service activities throughout South Florida. These events are open to all and are traditionally smaller, intended to develop relationships with seasoned members while forging future business relations. 

The Registration Committee is responsible for attending Chapter’s various programs and events by assisting with the registration of event attendees, providing name tags, setting up for the event, and breaking down from the event.

Members organize and plan the annual golf tournament which is in support of a local charity. This includes recruiting players, prizes, site location and sponsors for the event. 

Members actively seek new members for the local CREDA Chapter. It also engages with current members to keep them renewing and stay active within the organization. The Committee is also responsible for reaching out to new members who attend Chapter events in order to make them feel welcomed and oriented to Chapter activities.

Members organizes programs, helps plan socials, educational programing, develop relationships with future member involvement and community service activities, to meet the needs of CREDA Members specifically in the Miami market.

Members organize overall programs for the local CREDA SFL Chapter which includes recruiting both speakers and moderators, as well as sponsors and location for the event. This committee is a year long commitment. 

Members monitor legislation at the local, state, and national levels, which may impact the commercial real estate development industry and report such issues and actions to the membership and lobbyist. Members shall plan and organize events to educate the Chapter Membership to legislative action or pending action.

The Committee organizes the CREDA Trade Show. This includes recruiting both exhibitors and sponsors for the event. 

Member works closely with all standing committees to solicit and confirm meeting sponsors for the entire calendar year and for the design, recruitment and implementation. The Gemstone Appreciation committee creates special events and educational programming offered to our Gemstone members first.
